Wesley Safadão refuses PRTB invitation to play Senate: Focus is music and vaquejada

Singer Wesley Safadão denied the PRTB’s invitation to be a candidate for the Federal Senate by the state of Ceará. The country team confirmed the refusal to Estadãostating that the artist is focused on his own career.

“Wesley thanked the invitation, but his focus is on music and cowboy,” said the singer’s team on Friday, 14.

The party, in turn, showed no interest in giving up the singer’s candidacy to the Senate. The president of the acronym, Leonardo Avalanche, said that “at the opportune moment” the singer “will leave his contribution to the people of Ceará and Brazilians”.

“We are building a great alliance for our Brazil for Brazilians, at the right time Wesley will leave their contribution to the people of Ceará and the Brazilians to exercise their mandate as senator,” he said.

The PTRB had invited the country to debut his political career for the acronym. Avalanche even said that the two talked about the possibility.

“He wants to leave a legacy for the next generations,” said the party president. For him, Wesley Safadão, “besides being a successful singer, is a great businessman with a heart focused on social actions.”
