‘Woke AI’ and Google’s monopoly: what will Trump change in technology?

In general, Trump wants to eradicate everything he considers “woke” from the country. Originally associated by progressives with “being on guard against racial injustices”, the term came to be used by conservatives to disqualify certain debates. Even for artificial intelligence, Trump wants to put an end to “woke AI”.

There is an executive order, which is like an executive order made by President Joe Biden for AI. It delimits some use cases in a very sectoral way. It is an order for innovation, but also thinking a lot about responsible AI. Trump is not a fan of this order at all and has already announced that he will review it

For the president-elect, Biden’s order hurts innovation. Therefore, Trump has already signaled that he will take a closer look at the deregulation of this technology.

And he is not alone. Alongside him is billionaire Elon Musk, owner of companies such as Space X, Tesla and X (formerly Twitter).

An example of this future of unregulated AI is “Grok AI”, X’s generative AI. Without so many brakes, the tool can create prohibited content on other platforms. During tests, Diogo created the image of Mickey Mouse smoking marijuana.
