Xuxa does hair transplant – learn all about the procedure

This week, host Xuxa Meneghel revealed that she underwent a hair transplant. The procedure is one of the options for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia, popularly known as baldness. The problem, which appears most commonly in men and is genetically determined, today affects about 37% of women. And it grows among the female audience, increasingly, the complaint of hair loss.

Tricologists have seen the number of female patients in their offices grow. Dermatologist Baltazar Sanabria, a specialist in tricology and hair health, reveals that, since the pandemic, has expanded the team for meals just to serve women. Transplants are still predominantly made by the male public, about 95%, but demand has increased among women.
